Project 1: Blackboard Calendar Instruction Manual

Description:This project is a step-by-step instruction manual explaining how to use the Blackboard Calendar feature. It teaches students how to access the calendar, view course events, add personal reminders, sync their calendar to other devices, and troubleshoot common issues. The manual focuses on clear explanations and user-friendly directions.


Project 2: Graduate Programs Report

Description:
This report compares online Master of Education (M.Ed.) and MBA programs across public universities in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. It includes tuition, credit hours, flexibility, and recommendations for the best programs. The project demonstrates research, comparison, organization, and technical report writing skills.

Project 3: Internship Cover Letter + Follow-Up Letter

Description:
This assignment includes a professional cover letter expressing interest in an engineering internship at West Fraser, Inc., along with a follow-up letter to check on the application status. The project shows understanding of workplace communication, tone, professionalism, and concise messaging.

Project 4: Restaurant Correspondence Packet

Description:
This packet contains multiple workplace letters written from the perspective of a restaurant owner. They include messages to a loyal customer, restaurant staff, general customers, and a corporate vice president regarding potential menu changes and an Open House event. The project demonstrates formal communication, tone adjustment for different audiences, and clarity in writing.
